Handpainted sinks and other colorful things from Playa del Carmen

We just came back from a family vacation at The Grand Mayan in Riviera Maya just outside of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Say that three times fast!!! The resort was absolutely top notch, with a lush, tropical setting and delicious cuisine. We only chose to leave the premises one day, when we took a cab to the “Fifth Avenue” of Playa del Carmen. Not quite as luxurious as New York City, but it certainly made for a nice afternoon. There were so many different things to look at, I just thought I’d share a few of them here.
