THE LAST BATCH OF PAINTINGS TO COMPLETE THE 30-DAY CHALLENGE

tiny paintings little art

Well, it figures!  Just when I was getting into the swing of things and being consistent with posting, I had computer issues where I couldn’t upload any photos.  So I just kept plugging along, painting every night.  In the last two weeks of the challenge, seems like I cranked out 27 small paintings!  I had a stash of small canvases I had bought but never used.  So I thought this was the perfect opportunity to put them to good use.  I created all these little scenes without reference.  They just came from a happy place in my brain.  When I think of nature and peace, this is what came out of my head and onto my brush.

So, this concludes my 30 day Daily Painting Challenge.  I would have been happier with myself if I posted every day as intended, but I’m kinda proud that I actually exceeded the amount of paintings I thought I would get done.  I still have so many ideas of different things I want to paint, so stay tuned!  Now that I’ve started the habit, I am determined to stick with it.  Although I am getting busier with private commissions and decorative painting projects the closer it gets to the holidays (yes, they’ll be here before we know it), I am motivated and committed to keep it going.  Thanks for joining me on this journey.

I am in the process of setting up an Etsy shop so that I can go global with my paintings and silk scarves.  I’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready!
