ABOUT DEBBIE VIOLA

A Brush with Purpose

I never set out to be an artist.

Not in the traditional sense. My journey began in the most unexpected way: on September 11, 2001. That morning changed everything for me. I left my job, walked away from the corporate world, and leaned into something I never imagined would become my life’s work — creating beauty through art.

What started with hand-painted finishes and surface design evolved over 22 years into intuitive, abstract fine art. I’ve been blessed to work with some of the top interior designers in New York City, trusted to create custom artwork for homes, hospitality spaces, and healing environments. But more than accolades or commissions, it’s the moment when someone says,

“Your painting makes me feel calm,”
that tells me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Why I Paint

I paint because the world needs more beauty, more stillness, more connection.
My work is intuitive and emotive, layered with texture and color that speak to both serenity and strength. Whether it’s a tranquil seascape inspired by Long Island or a bold, mica-dusted canvas that makes a room come alive, my goal is simple: I want you to feel something.

Who I Paint For

My collectors are homeowners who appreciate the feeling of walking into a room that reflects who they truly are. Many are women who are ready to elevate their spaces, not just decorate them. I also collaborate with luxury interior designers who want a trusted artist in their back pocket. My art has been placed in luxury residences, corporate offices, medical facilities, and spaces where beauty and calm truly matter.

A Mission with Heart

Art gave me a second chance at life. That’s why I give back. I’ve donated over $25,000 worth of art to causes I care about, and now I’m shifting to a sustainable model where I’m paid to paint live at events and donate a generous portion of the proceeds.
My goal is to sell $10,000 in art each month and donate 40% to charities and local families in need.

Why This Matters

You don’t have to be a collector, a designer, or even “art-savvy” to find something here that speaks to you.
If you want to surround yourself with beauty and intention — if you want your walls to tell a story of resilience and serenity — welcome.

I’m so glad you’re here.
